For what this was, this was absolutely well done!
What a solid game this was to check out! The whole premise/story was really well done. The only issue I saw was that the grammar in some places seems a bit iffy. But aside from that, the game itself did fine! Btw, that boss fight was super well made! Made a video on it.thank you so much for playing, appreciate the feedback 🙌

ITS SO GOOOD!!1! I like how funny and realistic the characters are (legit the clearest faces in a psx-style game, like YOU CAN SEE DEM PORES on their faces, and they blink) this game is something else. I like the mechanics, the lawn mowing is satisfying like one of those silly asmr games then it hits you with the horror aspect. Keep up the good work!

Bro I just watched Kubz Scouts play this on Youtube, and I'ma tell you right now - out of all the indie games I've done seen on the internet in the last few years, Snakehead actually shows some promise. Idk how you made the face scans so good, the character movements were spotless, the cut scenes and subtitles were nice dog.
Would love to see a bigger, longer game out of this seriously - I legit made an account just to tell you this dog

Cool game with a unique story! The gameplay was fun and it ran quite smooth on my pc. Though I have to say that the boss fight was a bit finicky; it was hard to catch him even when he ran into the rocks; the timing felt a bit fast. I also had the unfortunate luck of my grass trimmer's front side falling inside one of the big rocks, making it impossible to change the blade since the rock blocked my way. Restarting the game fixed it but it still said the tool was broken even though I could use it just fine (visually the blade was chipped).
Also if you throw the grass trimmer on the ground you can just jump on it, climb onto a rock, and then jump again on the fence, making you just see the boss from above spawning infinite snakes at you (there should be some invisible walls around so the player wouldn't just escape)
Regardless of the above, I still had fun playing your game and I'm looking forward Part 2! Keep it up ❤️

this game is awesome! the atmosphere is great and i was super unnerved the whole time. is the catching the baby snake section supposed to be really hard? i spent like 15 minutes on it and never got close to catching the snake. i thought i grabbed it once but it just turned away and changed trajectory.

yes, i realized that based on the instructions given, wherein i am provided exactly that information. my issue is with how difficult it is to employ that knowledge to catch the snake. admittedly 15 minutes is the product of a dire skill issue, but in all the playthroughs i watched it took the player several minutes to sufficiently corner the snake so as to catch it. strictly speaking, a difficult challenge is not a mortal sin, but the pacing does suffer from it in this particular instance; the player is dragged out of their fear by their need to lock the fuck in and catch the stupid idiot baby snake.
